Traidcraft

Traidcraft is the trade name for the items sold on the stall, there is a stall in church at the close of the service, usually on the last Sunday of the month.  Traidcraft helps people to transform their lives through trade.  Every grocery product you buy gives skilled farmers the power to cultivate a better future for themselves, their families and their community.                                                     TRAIDCRAFT

Church Road Methodist Church was given fairtrade status in 2007.  This means that –

  1. We use fairly-traded tea, coffee and sugar at Church functions.
  2. We encourage Church members to purchase fairly-traded products from local supermarkets.
  3. We hold Traidcraft stalls once a month after the morning service.
  4. The Fairtrade mark guarantees that goods have been fairly traded.

Catalogues are available on request where the range of all fairtrade goods can be viewed
and items can be ordered from the Church rep.

When you buy Fairtrade products you are helping to transform the lives of 1.4 million
people in 74 less developed countries around the world through fair prices, better wages and the Fairtrade premium.

Why not try the new cleaning range, including handwash, Washing up Liquid, Laundry Liquid, and multi-surface cleaner.  The Clean and Fair range has been developed so that you can have effective cleaning of your hands, dishes, clothes and surfaces around your home without any nasty chemicals.

Trussell Trust Foodbank

Church Road Methodist Church are pleased to support The Trussell Trust.

Trussell Trust is a charity founded on Christian principles. We work with people of all faiths and none, but are inspired to do what we do by Jesus' words:

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Matthew 25:35-36
