Overview
The Church Life group is responsible for planning and maintaining the social aspects of church life. This includes events around dates in the Church calendar such as Easter, Harvest and Christmas, plus additional social and occasional fundraising activities.

Who is Welcome
The group is currently made up of the leaders of the various groups meeting in the church plus representatives from the Church leadership team and one or two co-opted members.

When do we Meet
The group will hold a regular annual meeting to review the previous year’s activities and plan for the coming year. Planning meetings for each specific event will be held as and when needed.

Anyone with ideas or suggestions for social events should contact Linda or another member of the group, and of course all offers of help for events will be gratefully accepted.

Recent Highlights
As we all know, social activity has effectively been suspended for the last couple of years but as you will see below, we have planned a series of events for 2022 that we are optimistic we will be able to deliver in some form, subject to no further restrictions being imposed.

Forthcoming Events

17th April Easter Sunday – breakfast to be served between 9am communion service and 10:30 service, for anyone attending either or both services.
12th June – Church Anniversary. Jacob’s Join lunch after the service.
25th September – Harvest. A simple lunch to be held after the service.
19th November – Christmas fayre / coffee morning
To be arranged:
Circuit Social and hotpot supper (when Covid restrictions allow).

Coffee and cakes for sale in the garden (in church if wet) for St Anne’s carnival, if the carnival goes ahead.
